Rockin in the Rockies spread Christmas cheer

On Wednesday, December 1, Rockin in the Rockies (RRCC) Executive board members (David Cumming, President, Oreen Walker, Treasurer and Kim Levie – Secretary made stops delivering Christmas cheer.

They donated $100 to the Cranbrook Women’s Resource Centre, along with toiletries collected by club members at RRCC’s recent Christmas dinner.

The next stop was the Cranbrook Food Bank, where 138 lbs. of food was donated, again collected at the Christmas dinner.

A third stop was made at the Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce (lead image), where they donated $100 to the Turkey Drive; and then to Street Angels, donating $100.

The monetary donations are collected through membership fees paid by club members. Determining the donations to be made to the community was made during the recent AGM/Board meetings that were held.

As a club we love the enthusiasm of the community that is shown to members while cruising and showing our classic cars and we are so very pleased to be able to give back to the community in a small way.
