The following is a summary motions carried by the School District No. 5 (SD5) School Board of Trustees during the April 10 board meeting held in Cranbrook.
Motions Carried
General
To allow three readings of the Trustee Election Bylaw 2018, as amended.

Refer Terms of Reference Audit Committee and Financial Health Toolkit to the April Finance Operations/Personnel Committee meeting.
That the Board allows three readings of the 2018/19 Capital Plan in the amount of $1,002,355.

That the Board submits to the Ministry of Education the SD5 Playground Equipment Program Project request.
That the Board approves an increase of $100,000 to the MasterCard For Staff Purchasing limit, up from $300,000 to $400,000.
That the Board requests administration to provide an extensive report on the technology in the district used for communicating with staff and stakeholders across the province.
