The Spirit of the Rockies Festival kicks off Thursday, June 15 with eats and entertainment for the whole family.
Fill up in the morning at the Tamarack Centre’s Kick Off Pancake Breakfast and enjoy lunch at the Friends of the Library BBQ.
Take the entire family to the free CO-OP family movie, Finding Nemo at the Curling Club in the evening.
On Friday start your day off right at the Scotiabank Pancake breakfast and then head on over to the Royal Lepage Corral for some great tasting burgers.
Starting at 5 p.m. Friday evening things are happening at the Western Financial Central Fairgrounds, the place to be, with the ever-popular BA Blacktop Spirit of the Balls Bocce tournament, Molson Coors refreshment gardens and dancing to two of the Kootenay’s top bands the Mile High Club and the Testers on the Salvador Friday Night Stage.
There will be an assortment of food vendors on site for dinner. Or head over to the ball fields and enjoy a cold one at the Rockies Royale Slo-pitch Tournament.
And we can’t forget on Friday evening enjoy the entertainment at the Youth Ambassador Showcase at the Key City Theatre.
