Tamarack hosts another successful Jail and Bail

Cranbrook RCMP and the Cops For Kids Charitable Foundation are appreciative of all the work Linda Birch and her team from the Tamarack Centre put into this year’s fundraising effort for the Jail and Bail.

For the past several years staff from the Tamarack Centre have spent tireless hours ensuring that the Jail and Bail was a success. This year was no different with over $16,000 being raised in the span of five hours.  All money raised through the event will remain in the East Kootenay to help out families in need.

“Linda and her team have been instrumental in raising so much money for kids in our area.  Without her working constantly behind the scenes this event would not be possible. We are so thankful for her,” said Cst. Katie Forgeron of Cranbrook RCMP.

The riders leave Cranbrook today to continue their long trek to raise awareness for the Cops For Kids Charitable Foundation.

They will arrive in Kelowna on September 15.
