City of Cranbrook residents and visitors should expect traffic delays along Victoria Avenue starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, October 18 until around 4 p.m. Tuesday, October 19.

Two lanes of Victoria Avenue will be closed for construction while the other two will remain open to allow for a constant flow of traffic.

The construction work will establish a connection to city infrastructure for the BC Housing project adjacent to Victoria Avenue and 21st Avenue South.

Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic on Victoria Avenue. Motorists are asked to be extra vigilant and to obey all crews and signage in the area.

The city thanks the public for their patience with this project.
