Kimberley resident and photographer Al Price recently shared some photos of a special early spring walk in the Wycliffe area south of the city.

Cathie took our dog, Gracie, for a hike at The Buttes (Wycliffe) yesterday. When she came back she said the bluebirds were really flying around out there. So in the afternoon I went out by myself with camera, and spent about 90 minutes photographing (and talking to) the birds.

I  photographed mostly blues, but one robin had to pose for me.

And Mother Nature tossed in a rain/snowstorm on the mountains across the valley, just for fun. This is truly a magical place.
