BC Parks makes upgrades to Norbury
BC Parks reports it has been working on exciting upgrades at Norbury Lake Provincial Park near Cranbrook to improve accessibility in the day-use area so more people can enjoy what makes this park special.
What’s new:
– Accessibility improvements to the Peckham’s Lake dock with an accessible route from the dock parking area;
– four accessible pit toilets;
– 14 accessible picnic tables;
– 3 accessible parking spaces with transfer space;
– Accessible trail upgrades throughout the day-use area, including a trail connecting the main parking to the beach.
These upgrades are part of our ongoing work through our commitment to Inclusion to make parks meaningfully accessible so everyone can experience the benefits of spending time outside!
