Letter to the Editor

As a somewhat frequent visitor to your area and being from Alberta, I was heartened to see an article recently from businesses trying to woo back Alberta visitors.

However, businesses are not the problem keeping people from coming back; the people in your community are. There are numerous stories of Alberta cars being keyed, nasty notes left on windshields and people being sworn at and told to go home.

People here are wary if not angry with this deplorable behaviour and until the community can take some action to curb those individuals, I for one will be curtailing any future visits.
