A soggy but spectacular Spooktacular

Neither rain nor pandemic could stop the annual Halloween Spooktacular Oct. 29 at Fort Steele Heritage Town.

Hundreds came for Halloween fun with trick-or-treating, haunted houses, live music and dance party.

The organizers and hard working volunteers put on an amazing event for all ages.

New this year, Trevor Panczak was playing with his band on the stage live. There was also Halloween favourites like the dark house, carnival games, and 2 spectacular firework displays.

“We want to thank the incredibly talented, passionate and dedicated staff that put in tireless hours to make the event a fun event, the volunteers that made sure it could all happen, and the amazing sponsors that pitched in,” Fort Steele Heritage Town noted on social media.

“Above all that, to all of you who made it alive and busy, even in a strange unpredictable year, and braving the cold and rain!

“We hope you enjoyed yourselves and can’t wait to see you again soon!”
