Gov’t Mule coming to nearby Rexford

One of the greatest southern rock jam bands to ever rip and snort a stage and recording studio is making its way to tiny Rexford, Montana (just across the line) for a performance at Abayance Bay Marina on Wednesday, August 19.

Gov’t Mule, led by the inimitable Warren Haynes on guitar and vocals, has roots in the Allman Brothers Band. Haynes and the late, great Allen Woody performed with the band, while drummer Matt Abts used to play in the Dicky Betts Band.

Great roots but Gov’t Mule has paved its own road of greatness with more than 25 recordings of original and mind-blowing covers over the past 30 years.

Add all that up and make it Koocanusa lakeside for an unforgettable experience, surrounded by breathtaking views and infectious energy.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the first of two sets begins at 7 p.m.
