The Freemasons of this district recently were honoured by the official visit of the Grand Master of BC & Yukon, Most Worshipful Brother Kenneth Overy.

At this function he presented Ron Tarr with his 60-year service award and Neil Matheson with his 50-year service award.

This meeting was attended by Freemasons from lodges in Cranbrook/Kimberley, Creston, Elk Valley, Invermere and Golden. Following the meeting, a very enjoyable banquet for members and partners was held at the Prestige Inn in Cranbrook.
