MP Morrison endorses Pierre Poilievre for party leader

Kootenay-Columbia MP Rob Morrison today tipped his hand as to who he’s supporting in the upcoming leadership contest for the Conservative Party of Canada – Pierre Poilievre.

Pierre Poilievre was born and raised not far from Kootenay-Columbia, in Southern Alberta, and understands Western Canada. As the Member of Parliament for Carleton he has also proven he can win in Ontario, which will be critical in the effort to defeat Justin Trudeau,” Morrison stated.

“Pierre is a passionate, hard-working leader who is uniquely positioned to bridge divisions and unify our country. He is a man of principle, with strong conservative values, who has the capacity to inspire, and that is why I am supporting him to be the next leader of the Conservative Party of Canada,” he added.
