Nitros head to Invermere up by two

The Kimberley Dynamiters took care of business against the Columbia Valley Rockies at the Civic Centre March 2 and 3 and head to Invermere up two games to none in the best of seven Kootenay International Junior Hockey League Eddie Mountain Division finals.

The Nitros nipped the Rockies 4-3 in overtime on Monday and then skated to a 3-0 victory last night.

The series resumes tomorrow, Thursday, March 12, with game three at the Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena, while game four goes Friday, March 13. Both games begin at 7 p.m.

If necessary, game five is scheduled for Sunday, March 15 back in Kimberley.

In Neil Murdoch Division finals play, Nelson Leafs have yet to allow Beaver Valley Nitehawks to score, winning 6-0 and 5-0 in the first two games of the series.
