One injured in two adjacent crashes on Highway 3/95

At 10:02 a.m. Cranbrook Search and Rescue, Road Rescue Division (SAR) was tasked out by RCMP to a single motor vehicle accident on Highway 3/95 near Moyie Lake.

The single occupant of this vehicle lost control when they hit black ice on the highway. No injuries were reported.

At 10:31 a.m., SAR received a second call dispatched by RCMP, 300 metres south of the first accident on Highway 3/95, to another single motor vehicle accident.

The single occupant of the second accident was taken to East Kootenay Regional Hospital with undetermined injuries.
