Severe thunderstorm watch in effect
Environment Canada (EC) has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the East Kootenay.
EC is forecasting a 60% chance of showers or thunderstorms this afternoon with risk of a severe thunderstorm. Temperatures across the region are expected to hit a high of 25, with a humidex of 27.
Tonight will be cloudy with 60% chance of showers or thunderstorms, with risk of a severe thunderstorm. Low 13.
