Winter in the East Kootenay 2022

Kimberley Alpine Resort – much quieter than it normally would be on a lovely mid-March Sunday thanks to damages inflicted in an arson-caused fire.

Another pandemic winter. Can we go? Should we go? Will it be open?

More often than not, uncertainty led to cancellation.

So once again, we do not feature complete inclusion of the East Kootenay’s gorgerous communities and areas in our collection of shots.

As always, the shots provide our small view of the place we call home – the East Kootenay.

Here’s to a continued move toward endemic and thank you to everyone who has done their part in getting us here – to a point where we can again gather and visit and live, and travel, praise be.

Images in this collection include: Fernie, Cokato, Cranbrook and area, Kimberley and area, aqam, Moyie and Radium Hot Springs.
