Elk Valley RCMP Report

Elk Valley RCMP officers responded to 163 calls for service between April 8 and April 24.
RCMP responded to the following calls:
Eight motor vehicle collisions;
Four assaults;
One assault causing bodily harm;
Three Breach of Bail violations;
Two Breach of Peace;
One criminal harassment;
One harassing communications;
Four cause a disturbance;
Three mischief;
10 suspicious person/hehicle/occurrence;
One take auto without consent;
Two bike thefts;
Two thefts from motor vehicle under $5,000;
Five thefts under $5,000;
One liquor ticket.
RCMP issued 24 motor vehicle infraction tickets.
Four impaired drivers were stopped by Elk Valley RCMP officers, resulting with the following: two received a 90-day driving prohibition plus 30-day vehicle impoundment; and two received a three-day driving prohibition plus seven-day vehicle impoundment.
