WildSafeBC Elk Valley this morning (July 24) reported a bear has been observed on a back deck of a property on Bossio Road in Fernie’s Parkland Terrace area.

Bear sightings have also been reported on the trails below heading toward the river.  Be prepared to encounter bears anytime.
