Fernie Business Excellence Awards finalists announced
The Fernie Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the finalists for the 2019 Fernie Business Excellence Awards.
Each nominee was asked to complete an award application which was judged by an independent panel of judges from outside the Fernie area.
The winners will be announced at the Awards Gala on Friday, October 25 at the Best Western Plus Fernie Mountain Lodge starting at 6:30 p.m. Limited tickets are still available for the Awards Gala and can be purchased by contacting the Fernie Chamber of Commerce.
The following are the awards finalists…
2019 Community Tourism Achievement Award: Fernie Brewing Company, Snow Valley Lodging, Stag Leap Running Co.
2019 Outstanding Customer Service Award: Gearhub, Island Lake Lodge, Spa 901.
2019 New Business of the Year Award: Branch Out Learning, Fernie Distillers, Stocked Co.
2019 Entrepreneur of the Year Award: Fernie Distillers, Lilac Media, Pet Tech Care.
2019 Team of the Year Award: Fernie School Aged Care, McGiver Woodworks, Sparrow Hair.
2019 Employer of the Year Award: Island Lake Lodge, Spa 901, Western Financial Group.
2019 Fernie Business of the Year Award: Coal Town Goods, Fernie Lodging Company, Nevados.
2019 People’s Choice Award: Bridge Bistro, Carolla’s Crue, Super 8 Fernie.
2019 Community Leadership Award: Fernie Distillers, Island Lake Lodge, Super 8 Fernie.
The 2019 Citizen of the Year Award, 2019 Volunteer of the Year Award and 2019 Chamber Legacy Award winners will be announced at the awards gala.
