The City of Fernie’s 2023 Curbside Waste and Recycling Collection calendar has been published and is available online.

There will be no interruptions to curbside collection this holiday season, and residents are reminded that the Fernie Transfer Station (6000 Highway 3) is open daily, excluding Christmas Day and New Year’s Day if you miss your scheduled collection day or have excess garbage or recycling.

The hours of operation are Monday to Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
