Applications are now being accepted by the City of Fernie for limited funding available from the Resort Municipality Initiative (RMI) for festival and event development programs to assist community organizations with the cost of developing and hosting festivals and events to be held in fall 2018 and winter 2019 that impact local tourism.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need and how the proposed festival or event will have a positive impact on the Fernie and area tourism economy.

Completed applications must be submitted by email to [email protected] or in person at City Hall by 4 p.m. on August 2.
