On Thursday, October 10, Fernie McDonald’s Restaurant was once again thrilled to team up with Fernie Fire Department for the Fire Chief for the Day Contest.

This year there were four lucky Grade 3 winners: Georgia Fairchild, Levi Carson and Ike Cline Smith from Isabella Dicken Elementary School and Emily Yuill from Fernie Academy.

As the honorary Junior Fire Chiefs, these students began their special day with breakfast at McDonald’s with Fernie McDonald’s Restaurant Manager Marina Pynnaken and Fernie Fire Department Lieutenant Brett Uphill.
