Local firm in Credit Unions of BC video
East Kootenay Community Credit Union (EKC) is ecstatic Credit Unions of BC chose Fernie Brewing Company to be represented in their video collection.
The groups have been selected for their story and how it impacted the community in ways a bank couldn’t. The relationship of EKC and Fernie Brewing Company showed how together they are helping to build better communities and making a difference in the East Kootenay.
From the millions of British Columbians who have been impacted and inspired by their local credit union six stories have been chosen to date to tell their story.
Jose Galdamez, EKC Board Member stated, “In addition to really good beer, EKC applauded Fernie Brewing Company for their sense of community. Like EKC they believe in giving back. Their Cheers to Charity programs donated 100% of the money from tasting to community groups. Since its start $20,000 has been donated. This is a value EKC is very proud to partner with.”
