Mischief at the Fernie Family Centre
Elk Valley RCMP is investigating a mischief complaint which occurred on Halloween night involving a group of youths (possibly up to 10) who were caught on video smashing a window at the Fernie Family Centre located at 512 4th Avenue.
It appeared a brick was thrown causing damage to the blinds and leaving debris all over the one office area.
A similar report was also received only three blocks away wherein a similar group of youths were causing a disturbance by banging on windows and cursing obscenities at neighbouring people.
Anyone who can recognize the culprits in the photograph is asked to contact the RCMP at 250-423-4404 or remain anonymous and contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
