Planning a festival or event in the City of Fernie?

The annual spring intake is open for the Resort Municipality Initiative (RMI) Events & Animation Funding Program.

Applications are being accepted for events taking place from November 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027. Applicants need to demonstrate financial need and that the proposed event will have a positive impact on local tourism.

Deadline for submission is May 15.
