The City of Fernie July 9 asked residents to expect temporary trail closures along the recently constructed dike from North Fernie bridge to the intersection of Fairway Drive and 6th Avenue.

Paving crews will be onsite and work is expected to be completed within one week. Please respect all signage and temporary closures and stay clear of the work area and equipment, the city said on its website.
