The Blue Wranglers and Wild Honey at Arts Station Dec. 15

Pitting hard driving bluegrass undertones against an array of sparkling country-rock influences, The Blue Wranglers are Dustin Bentall on vocals and six string guitar, Dan Fremlin on vocals and mandolin and Jamielynn Caswell on everything else.

The band frequently showcases the Cariboo songbird Alyssa Omura on vocals and the smouldering talent of Tommy Krowiak on guitar.

Wild Honey is an all-female roots trio based in the East Kootenay. The band of busy mothers has been together for a decade, and has just released their second album, an EP titled ‘Let’s Be Cowboys.’ Recorded and produced by Canadian music legend Barney Bentall, the songs are compiled and delivered with gentle grace.

The Blue Wranglers  and Wild Honey perform at Fernie’s The Arts Station on December 15 from 8-10 p.m. Tickets are $22.
