49th annual JulyFest July 15 to 17 in Kimberley
The City of Kimberley will once again spring to life with sports, merriment and entertainment this upcoming weekend (July 15 to 17) with the 49th annual JulyFest celebration.
Along with bocce, ongoing fun and games, soccer and extreme skateboarding is the return of the Homecoming Parade on Saturday, July 16.
The parade start area is on Gerry Sorensen Way (across from the Kimberley Underground Mining Train Station).
The parade route runs down Ross Street, right at the traffic light, left at Mark Creek and down Rotary Drive, ending at the Civic Centre.
Parade Start Time: 10:30 a.m.
Parade Finish Time: 11:30 a.m.
“It looks like a very sunny day, perfect for the parade. Let’s line the streets,” stated City of Kimberley Mayor Don McCormick on social media.

Friday, July 15
3 p.m. Admission Gate Open
3 p.m. Dario Nonis Cup – Remembrance Bocce Game
3:45 p.m. Best of the Fests Opening Ceremony
4 p.m. International Bocce Championship Begins
4:30 p.m. Local Rocking Bands Begin
6 p.m. Volunteer Appreciation FREE BBQ Open
Saturday, July 16
9 a.m. 49th Annual Homecoming Parade Staging
9:30 a.m. Admission Gate Opens
10 a.m. Volunteer Appreciation FREE BBQ Open
10:30 a.m. 49th Annual Homecoming Parade Begins
10:30 a.m. International Bocce Championship Begins
11 a.m. Local Rocking Bands begin and go all day long
12 p.m. JF Vendor Market Opens – Small Ball Diamond FREE
2:30 p.m. JF Hot Dog Eating Contest
