Applications in for cannabis retail stores
The City of Kimberley has received two notices of application from the Provincial Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB) regarding cannabis retail stores.
The city is requesting written comments from residents on how the location of the proposed stores will affect them.
One applicant is Earth’s Own Naturals Ltd. and the proposed location of the store is 148 Howard Street in Kimberley. The applicant is requesting operating hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
And the other applicant is 1036457 BC Ltd. (Tamarack Cannabis Boutique) and the proposed location of the store is #2-518 304th Street in Kimberley. The applicant is requesting operating hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Gathering the views of residents will assist council in making a recommendation to the LCRB regarding these applications.
Written comments should be mailed to the City of Kimberley at 340 Spokane Street, Kimberley B.C., V1A 2E8 or emailed to [email protected] and need to be received by Oct. 4. Please mark your comments either ‘Earth’s Own Naturals’ or ‘Tamarack Cannabis Boutique.’
