Bike/Gear Swap and Garage Sale upcoming
Have your kids outgrown last year’s bike and want to get out on the trails?
Bikes in your living room, bikes in the shed, gear in your bedroom? With all that said… it could be time to sell your pre-loved gear, or better yet … acquire more!
Bring your unused but working bikes (mountain bikes, road bikes, tricycles, run bikes, etc.) As well as any biking related equipment such as parts, bike clothing and shoes to the Kimberley Bike/Gear Swap on Saturday, April 29 at Kimberley Independent School.
Drop off is on Saturday from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and the sale runs from 1-3 p.m. (come early for the best selection).
Proceeds will be split between the Friends of Children who assist families with children with extraordinary medical needs and Chapman Camp Community Playground.
Cost: Admission is free; commission of 20% (to a max of $100). Only cash or cheques accepted.
Organizers will also be running giant garage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop off items before or contact organizers for pick up.
Mountain Range will be there for you to buy lunch, snacks and drink 50% of sale will be donated.
That same night come hear all the exciting new things happening on the trails in and around Kimberley then watch a mountain bike film at the Elk Lodge at 7 p.m.
