Fire closes Kimberley Transfer Station
Members of the Kimberley Fire Department were quickly on the scene of a fire at the Kimberley Transfer Station last night.
The Regional District of East Kootenay will provide more of an update as more details become available; however, the site will be closed until further notice.
The Cranbrook Transfer Station (located behind Lordco in Cranbrook) will be open from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. should anyone have waste they need to dispose of.
