Kimberley Winter Flannel Fest is happening February 15 – 16 (2019) in the Platzl.

Friday night ‘Snow Rave’ will light up the Platzl with music and laser lights; this is a not-to-be-missed event.

Saturday will be a day of games, vendors, music, races through the platzl and much more. This extraordinary winterfest is planned for years to come for locals and tourists alike to enjoy our one light town and embrace winter! Flannel wearing is encouraged!

Check out some of the fun events happening at Flannel Fest 2019:

• Snow Rave (Friday Platzl): DJs in all corners of the Platzl with laser lights.
• Chill Zone (Friday Platzl): Beer Garden
• Business Parade (Friday Platzl): Local businesses dressed in their best flannels handing out treats and discounts.
• Snow Sculpting (Saturday Platzl): Snow sculpting competition.
• Winter Play (Saturday Platzl): The debut of a family-oriented winter fun event of music, cultures and fun activities in the Platzl.
• Ice Taffy (Saturday Platzl):  Delicious treat of rolling maple syrup in snow.
• Race competitions (Saturday Platzl): Snowshoe, Skijoring, penquin races, cross country ski, etc.
• Tournaments (various locations): Hockey, Bocce, Curling.
• Winter Market (Saturday Platzl): Showcase of vendors. ( Buy your flannel here.)
• Shirt Jack Party (Saturday Night TBD): First ever King & Queen chosen for next year.
• Guinness Worlds Book of Records (Friday Platzl): The most flannel worn at once.
