Mediation continues between city and union
The City of Kimberley and the United Steelworkers Local 1-405 met yesterday (July 27) with Labour Relations Board mediator Grant MacArthur.
Both parties were able to come to an agreement on essential services in the event of a work stoppage.
Following the agreement on essential services, further proposals were exchanged and both parties agreed to another day of mediation with MacArthur on August 9.
