Nitros finish third in B.C.

A four point performance by Brock Palmer and three point games from James Farmer and Devon Langelaar, along with a 16 save effort by netminder Cody Campbell led the Kimberley Dynamiters to a third place finish at the Cyclone Taylor Cup (Junior B provincial championship) yesterday.

The Nitros defeated the Campbell River Storm 7-1 the day after falling to the same club 9-0 in round robin play.

The Richmond Sockeyes captured the provincial crown with a 5-1 victory over the Delta Ice Hawks.

The Nitros were able to defeat the Sockeyes 6-1 in round robin play but fell to the Ice Hawks 3-0 in the tournament opener held in Richmond.

Nitros forward James Farmer was also selected as a tournament all-star.
