Tax Relief for Businesses

The ‘Kimberley Investment Incentive Program’ provides opportunities for municipal tax exemption to encourage investment and upgrades to commercial and industrial properties. The program provides tax relief, for a specified term, from 100% of the increase in the municipal portion of property taxes resulting from the increased property value after a commercial, mixed residential-commercial, or industrial project is completed. Brownfield projects are also eligible for relief from 100% of the municipal portion of property taxes while a project involving environmental investigation or remediation activity is in progress. Visit our website or contact the Planning Department at 250-427-9665 or [email protected] for more details.

The Civic Centre walking track is a great way to keep active rain, snow or shine. Keep track of your laps because 5 laps equal one kilometer! The track is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week, excluding statutory holidays. Civic Centre Access Cards are available at City Hall for a one-time fee of $5.
