The project is then eligible for a further rebate of 10-60% of the permit fee based on the post-construction energy performance of the building. Pets and Hot Weather

With the weather warming up, the Bylaw officer would like to remind people not to leave your pets in vehicles. Animals confined in an unventilated vehicle can quickly succumb to the high temperatures and die of heat stroke. Please leave your animals at home where they will be more comfortable. The MTI Bylaw 2540, Animal Control Schedule Section 10, allows for a $150 fine for animals left in an enclosed space unventilated vehicle. Let’s keep our dogs safe this summer!
