It was a pleasure to attend the official opening of the newly renovated playground at Rotary Park on July 11.

A huge congratulations to the Kimberley Rotary Club for leading this incredible project and thank you to the City of Kimberley and the many generous donors and partners who helped bring it to life.

From the safer, resilient ground surface to the exciting new play structures, it’s wonderful to see so many kids already enjoying this fantastic community space.

The Kimberley & District Community Foundation was proud to contribute just over $3,000 toward this project. While our contribution was modest, it’s a great example of how community partnerships come together to create something meaningful for everyone.

As our endowment funds continue to grow through the generosity of local businesses, families, and legacy donors, we’re excited to support even more projects that help make Kimberley and District an even better place to live – for generations to come.
