Missing youth may be Alberta-bound

A missing teenaged girl from Burnaby could be passing through the East Kootenay (north Highway 1 or south Highway 3) as RCMP believes she may be headed to Alberta.

Burnaby RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating missing Burnaby resident Alesha Losa, 17.

She was last seen February 18, and was reported missing by a family member in Burnaby. Alesha last stated that she was visiting a friend’s residence nearby, however never arrived. It is believed that Alesha is currently staying with friends or possibly traveling to Alberta to see other family members.

Description: Caucasian female; 17 years; 5 ft 3 in (160 cm); Medium build; Long dark brown hair; green eyes.

She was last seen wearing: black/red Chicago Bulls cap;black bomber jacket; gray sweater with thumbs up design on front; jeans with rips.
