HEADS UP: Beer Festival set to pour in Fairmont tonight and tomorrow
It’s a beery time in the East Kootenay!
Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is hosting the second annual East Kootenay Beer Festival at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort tonight, June 15 and tomorrow, Saturday, June 16.
And Fernie Brewing Co. is excited to announce the arrival of the infamous craft-beer writer, Joe Wiebe, to Fernie on Tuesday June 18, at 6 p.m. Joe will be at the Fernie Arts Station to launch his new book ‘Craft Beer Revolution: The Insider’s Guide to BC Breweries’ as part of his province-wide tour.
A fact-filled, interesting read for anyone who enjoys a good brew, Joe promises a great evening, where you can purchase a book, courtesy of Polar Peek Books, get it autographed and hear excerpts. All whilst enjoying a cold Fernie brew and a taste of FBC infused recipes from a collection of bars and restaurants in Fernie.
