The first event held at the newly renovated Wilmer Community Hall could not have been more appropriate.

Family and friends of iconic valley resident Hermann Mauthner came together Saturday, June 25 for his 80th birthday. Apropos, as Hermann was a big part of the hall getting renovated. He put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into it, as he has so many other times in the valley when help is needed.

Valley band Smarty Pants provided the tunes for the evening.
