The following is a complete schedule of council meetings for Elkford, Fernie and Sparwood for 2017.

2017 council meeting schedules
City of Fernie
City of Fernie council (Regular) and Committee of the Whole Meetings (COTW) are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month (except when a meeting falls on a statutory holiday, it will be held the next day that City Hall is open.) COTW meetings begin at 10 a.m. and Regular Meetings begin at 7 p.m.
Meeting dates: Jan. 23; Feb. 14 and 27; March 13 and 27; April 10 and 24; May 8 and 23; June 12 and 26; July 10 and 24; August 28; Sept. 11; Oct. 10 and 23; Nov. 14 and 27; Dec. 11.
District of Elkford
District of Elkford council meetings commence at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at the Elkford Municipal Office – 816 Michel Road, Elkford.
Meeting dates: January 23; February 14 and 27; March 13 and 27; April 10 and 24; May 8 and 23; June 12 and 26; July 10 and 24; August 14 and 28; September 11; October 10 and 23; November 13 and 27; December 11.
District of Sparwood
Regular Council meetings are generally held the first and third Monday of every month. Meetings are held at the District Office, 136 Spruce Avenue.
The first Monday meeting is held at 1 p.m. The third Monday meeting is held at 7 p.m.
If the Monday falls on a statutory holiday, the meeting is scheduled for the following Tuesday.
Meeting dates: Jan. 16; Feb. 6 and 20; March 6 and 20; April 3 and 18; May 1 and 15; June 5 and 19; July 17; August 21; Sept. 5 and 18; Oct. 2 and 16; Nov. 6 and 20; Dec. 4 and 18.
Note that some councils only meet once during July, August, September and December; check for your council. Also note that meeting dates and times are sometimes changed during the course of a year.
