ParticipACTION Griz Days-bound for Canada 150
ParticipACTION’s 150 Play List Tour, in honour of Canada’s 150th birthday, is coming to Fernie, on March 4-5.
Fernie Griz Days is a winter festival held from March 3-5. This year welcomes back many favourites like the Extreme Griz Competition, parade, Rocky Mountain Lumberjack show, and pub crawl. Griz Days is a Fernie-wide event, happening at locations across town and at Fernie Alpine Resort.
You can find the ParticipACTION crew in Fernie at Griz Days as we challenge Canadians to complete as many physical activities from the Play List as possible. Stop by to knock a few off your own list, or try a unique featured activity (Bean Bag Toss). Track activities online for your chance to win great prizes!
Loads of great events for participants and spectators to join in or drop by and cheer on a team. Many events are free. The Griz is Fernie’s mountain man mascot, symbol of winter and the central character for the weekend’s event.
