There will be music in the air in downtown Cranbrook this upcoming Saturday.

The Cranbrook Downtown Business Association’s May 6 ‘Shop ‘til you drop’ event, in collaboration with Fisher Peak Performing Artists Society, is presenting a ‘Busker-A-Thon’ in downtown Cranbrook. Donations will go to the musicians’ choice of charity.

For example, local musician Douglas Francis Mitchell will be busking between Ray Dube’s Mount Baker Barbershop and Sakura Restaurant in support of the Cranbrook Women’s Centre starting at 10 a.m.

Other buskers will be at other nearby locales.
