Organizers report tickets for the 100th anniversary of the Kimberley Pipe Band Tattoo are now on sale.

If you are thinking of waiting, know that in just over 24 hours they have sold 450 tickets for the July 24, 2027 event at Western Financial Place.

Sixteen bands are now confirmed bands from across B.C., Alberta, and two from Spokane and Georgia in the USA.

In addition to the pipe bands, there will also be the B.C. Regimental Marching Band.

“We will have biathlon sprint demonstration by members of the junior Biathlon team of the Kimberley Nordic Club,” noted event co-organizer Jim Webster.

“In addition to the Tattoo, there will be a parade of bands in Kimberley on Saturday morning, July 24.”

Full details and the opportunity to purchase tickets can be found at kimberleypipeband.ca.

Organizers are also looking for event sponsors and promise to give you as much exposure as we possibly can over the next nine months.

“The band has being supporting our communities for the last 100 years so it’s now our turn to give them some love,” Webster said.
