Wallace Horning passed away peacefully in his sleep, under the best of care, on the morning of Saturday, May 20, 2017 in Invermere, BC at 84 years of age.

Wallace was born on August 23, 1932 in Eastend, SK. The owner/operator of West’s Department Store, “Wally West” was a fixture in the Castlegar Landscape for over 30 years.

Wally is survived by his older brother Bruce, his sons Curt, Perry and Deane, his daughter Lana and 8 lovely grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Wilbur and Rebecca.

At Wally’s request there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, kindly release the next fish you catch.
