Lyle Boyd Wilton passed away at the Elk Valley Hospital on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Lyle was born in Eastend, SK on February 15, 1936 to Russell and Minnie Wilton.

While living in Eastend, Lyle worked at the Wilton Garage. He married Peggy Graham and in 1971, the family moved to Sparwood. Lyle worked at the local coal mine for many years, and finished his working career with Mountain Mechanical.
Lyle is survived by his wife Peggy and their children: Boyd (Wanda), Mark (Joanne), and Alayna (Daryl), 6 grandchildren: Wyatt, Cassandra, Alex (Mike), Jenny (Aaron), Brandon (Paige) and Bailee, and 3 great grandchildren: Hailey, Lucas and Ozzy as well as his brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Judy with their family. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters-in-law, Clifford and Vonnie Wilton and Ken and Helen Witon, his sister Doreen Wardberg, nephews Terry and Bjorn, and his niece Lorrain as well as his in-laws, John and Betty Graham and brother-in-law Bobby.
