On March 5 Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting Ltd. plowed all of the “D” Class roads at Wasa Lake, except Maple, Pine and Ponderosa Roads.

This is the fourth time this winter Mainroad failed to plow Maple, Pine and Ponderosa Roads at Wasa, while plowing all of the other “D” Class roads.

I should not be surprised at the gross incompetence of Mainroad senior management as they have let this situation persist for the past four winters.

I am completely dissatisfied with the winter plowing service provided by Mainroad and am disconcerted it will continue for another five years.

As far as I am concerned, Mainroad’s senior management’s continued failure in not plowing Maple, Pine and Ponderosa Roads at Wasa is grounds for contract termination.

I am tired of my tax dollars being used to pay Mainroad EK senior managements salaries, benefits and pensions. A complete waste of taxpayer dollars.
