Join Jackie at The Art Station this Saturday from 1-3 p.m. in a family lantern building workshop.

This will be the first of several workshops leading up to the Fernie Festival of Lights, returning for a fifth straight year on Saturday, Nov. 10

Other lantern building sessions are being held on October 9, 18 and 24 and November 3, 4, 7 and 9.

The lanterns created during these workshops will be used during the Festival, and able to be picked up afterwards. The workshops are free of charge and are drop in.

The festival of lights brings an evening of lights and music to downtown Fernie. Celebrate the night with paper lanterns, bonfires and fireworks at Station Square.
