Election sign thefts being investigated
Elk Valley RCMP is investigating a series of thefts to local election signs in the City of Fernie.
The thefts occurred between October 10-12. The election signs were disposed of at various locations throughout the city, with some ending up in local rivers and ravines.
Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible and are asking that they contact the Elk Valley RCMP at 250-423-4404.
