Child injured after being struck by vehicle
A young child in Elkford escaped serious injury after being struck by a vehicle in a residential area last night (October 22).
The child was transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries as a result. “Through the course of the investigation Police determined that the collision was unavoidable and the driver of the vehicle was not charged,” reported Cpl. R. Wright of Elk Valley RCMP.
